A giant tarp might not be a bad idea. They run around $300 for one that would cover our track. The trick would be keeping it from getting stolen. But I would think nobody would really wanna wrestle with a 100'x100' tarp.

Lol. I have a 20x30 that I used when I built my trailer, that alone was a nightmare to move around/fold/store. You would need a whole room to store a tarp that large. Add mud, water, an that sucka would end up buried back in the weeds with the hoses that I bet are still there, lol.

Hey Dan-
I was down at the track Wednesday afternoon to check it out. The large lagoon at the end of the straightaway was in good shape. The worst of the puddles surround the infield around that stupid return jump in the middle. There are still smaller puddles scattered here and there but most of those could be swept off with a push broom. The water around the stupid jump will most likely need to be pumped out with a trash pump. I would suggest that we let it dry as much as possible on its own and Monday night get a bunch of bodies down there to help dry out what we can. And hope it doesn't rain us out again before we can race on it Tuesday night. Hope, hope, hope...

Shop Vacs. Spokane had record rainfall up and through The Hank this year. We had mulitple dumps that left the track covered in water, bunch of guys with shop vacs sucked it dry quicker than Scott on a Friday night.

I just checked the track this evening. Everything's drying out pretty well except Lake Anchorage in the infield surrounding Bruce's "stupid jump". I think there was a small puddle that's disappearing quick by the big banked corner heading onto the straightaway, as well as a small one by the rhythm section in front of the drivers' stand, but that's about it. Those smaller ones should be gone by Tuesday..it's taking care of the the lake in the infield that will require some extra work. The rest of the track looked fine though (assuming it doesn't rain again between now and Tuesday)...
