2010 Top Truck Challenge rules
ALL TRUCKS MUST BE WITHIN 2010 ALASKA SCALE RULES TO COMPETE
1. Competitors will receive points based on their finish time or distance on each course. First place will receive 10 points last place will receive 1 point. ( If we have more than 10 competitors points will be adjusted accordingly.)
2. All scoring will go by time first. If competitors don’t finish the course, they will be scored on distance.
3. If you roll your vehicle it must be righted by either winching or tow strap no touching allowed other than hooking up winch or tow strap. If you are winched or towed by another vehicle 1 minute will be added to your total time for that course and time will continue to run.
4. Hitting marker cones will add 15 seconds (for each marker) to your time.
5. Going out of bounds will get you a DNF and your distance will be marked at that point.
6. No modifications can be made during the competition. No tire/motor/gearing/shock/etc changes will be allowed. You may change your battery to any battery during the competition, and you may add weight to your rig for the truck pull, but you must be able to add/remove weight in 10 seconds or less.
7. Run order for each course will be decided ahead of time. There will be a sheet printed out and posted that shows the run order for each course. You must be ready and waiting when it’s your turn to run, anyone not ready to go within 30 seconds of when their name is called will receive a 0 for the course.

Well we have the courses just about completed and the pulling sled almost done. But since im not getting any replys to whos coming than im not sure this event is gonna happen. So if your gonna show give me a call or post here so i know how many trucks to expect. If we cant get at least 5 i dont see much reason to run it. Jade 715-6366

Hey Jade-
I intend to attend, barring any unforseen circumstances (like Obama selling Alaska back to Russia to help pay for Obamacare). I'm not sure how to set up my ride for this event. Do I just hang fuzzy dice from the mirror for scale points or what? Should I put in my 4.5 Novak Ballistic Short Course monster race motor and ESC, after all it is for 4WD. That might not be a bad idea at all... come to think about it. I'm still not putting any Ken or Barbie "action figures" in it for scale effects. You're just going to have to get over it. Bruce

Hey Bruce no fuzzy dice or action figure required. There is no scale points. Its all about driving ability. Well the course's are gonna be a mini rubicon, truck pull (think 6s) obstacle course, and frame twister. So there you go. Thats what you need to setup for. Look forward to seeing the pink barbie cart body Ken told me you put on your honcho chassis.
