Indoor Crawling on Sunday, Dec. 13th
Gonna be doing the crawler thing again this Sunday! Bring whatever you got. We're planning on turning this into a points series, so there will be awards/prizes for those that place in the top 3. Details are still beig worked out. There will be an actual entry fee of $10 which will go towards prizes. Same location as before. For more information, check out our forums.11/3/09 - Still looking for a place to race indoors...
We had a place lined up, but it was one of those deals where the place was up for sale and vacant. And as luck would have it, it was sold as soon as we committed to using the building! So we're still looking. We have a few avenues we're looking into. Again, as soon as I have any information, I'll post it up here as well as in the forums.10/19/09 - Indoor Season is almost upon us!
With the days getting shorter and the mornings getting colder, that can mean only one thing: Indoor Racing/Crawling!Plans have changed slightly for indoor season. Anchorage Baptist Temple didn't have room for us in their schedule so one of the club members scored us a big ol' truck shop! I don't know the address off hand, but it's behind the Mazda dealership on Old Seward. As soon as we have a solid date for when we'll be starting, I'll post more current info. Also be sure to to read the forums for updated info as well.
We will be racing 1/10 touring cars, 1/18 minis (RC18T, Mini Slash) and 1/10 Short Course. We may add more classes such as 1/12 pan car after we do some testing on the surface, which is concrete. Anchorage House of Hobbies just got in a full stock of tires. The popular choice is HPI's Super Radial Tire in "PRO" compound. Stay tuned for more info!Race Results Posted

Tuesday Night Racing starts May 12th and runs every week until the snow flies! We will be splitting up the season into two points series (spring/fall). Currently, we will be running 1/8 buggy and truggy (nitro/electric), 1/10 gas truck and "Spec" Slash class that's blowing up right now. Summer Solstice Enduro - June 21st
On the longest day of the year, we will have our longest race of the season. Feel like racing your nitro or electric racer till the sun goes down? No? Me either! So we'll only be doing a 2 hour enduro for each class. We will be running two classes: 1/8 Open and 1/10 Open. Read below for details on each class and acompnaying rules and fees. We will have a food and beverages and prizes for the winners. If you have never participated in an enduro, you're missing out! It's organized chaos! Two hours flies by...
Classes
1/8 OpenThis class includes anything 1/8 scale; nitro or electric. This includes, but is not limited to 1/8 buggy, truggy or shortcourse truck (SC8).
1/10 Open
This class includes anything 1/10 scale; nitro or electric. This includes classes such as 1/10 gas truck or 1/10 Electric trucks. The venerable, almost
indestructable Traxxas® Slash™ would be a perfect choice for this class.
Basic Rules
Enduros are comprised of teams. Each team has 3 members. Each member must rotate through each of the three roles (driver, pitman, marshal). Each member should
perform each duty at least three times during the 2 hours. You can replace parts as necessary as long as the chassis you start with is the chassis you finish with.
In other words, you can't just throw another vehicle out there if the one you're using breaks down; you gotta fix the one you're using. That's it!
$45 per team for 1 class
$70 per team for both classes
Alaska State Championship Series - May 23rd
In addition to our local points series, we will be having a State Series with events held on our track here in Anchorage and the track down in Soldotna. I highly recommend attending at least one race in Soldotna. Their track is certainly worth the trip. They are also working on yet another track that will be even better than the current venue with plenty of space for camping. These races will be held once a month starting Labor Day Weekend. These are two-day events (Sat/Sun) with qualifying on Saturday and mains on Sunday.
Classes will include 1/8 Buggy, Truggy, 1/8 Shortcourse and 1/10 Shortcourse trucks. Fees for these races will be $20 for your first entry and $10 for each additional entry. Fee covers both days. Dates for each race can be found here.2009 Rock Crawling Summer Series - April 18th

WHEN:Starting April 18th and continuing through the summer (see above for dates). Sign-Ups are at 11AM. If you can't make it for sign-ups, contact the event coordinator to get signed up. Just because you miss sign-ups does not mean you can't participate.
